Research groups

DIANUT-GR research group focuses its research on epidemiological, clinical and physiological aspects of pediatric diabetology, nutrition and metabolic or cardiovascular risk factors. DIANUT-GR has ongoing research projects concerning epidemiology and prediction of diabetes, obesity, dislipidemia and their co-morbidities as well as projects on the role of oxidative stress and microbiome products on obesity co-morbidities and projects concerning genetics and epigenetics of obesity, diabetes, and its complications. DIANUT-RG also conducts trials of treatment or prevention of its diseases of interest.
