Professor Franco Antoniazzi is a Surgeon Doctor, specialized in Pediatrics and Endocrinology and Ph.D. in Congenital Metabolic Pathophysiology. He specifically deals with Auxology, Pediatric Endocrinology and Skeletal Diseases of the Evolutive Age. He carries out his care activity at the Women's and Child Hospital of the Integrated University Hospital of Verona.
His research activity is aimed in particular
in the field of Pediatric Endocrinology: Growth and Study of Growth Factors, Puberty Disorders: Early Puberty, Delayed Puberty and Hypogonadism, Thyroid Disfunction: Hypothyroidism (Congenital Hypothyroidism and Neonatal Screening) and Hyperthyroidism;
in the field of Skeletal Diseases of the Evolutive Age: Study of bone metabolism, Search for mutations and treatment in Osteogenesis Imperfecta, osteochondrodysplasias
